Below are some commonly asked questions about Soundlab Studios and what we offer.

 

Q: Can I book for more than one session in advance?

A: Yes, you can book for as many sessions as you like, providing you pay the appropriate deposit.

Q: If I have to cancel, do I still have to pay?

A: If you have to cancel, as long as we have 24 hours notice there is no charge, however, if you don't give us 24 hours we will have to charge 50% of the cost of the cancelled session.

Q: Can I hire equipment, or do I have to bring my own?

A: You can hire equipment ranging from amps and drums to extra microphones and instruments, all at very competitive rates. We provide each rehearsal room with a drum kit, (minus snare and cymbals), one bass amp, one valve guitar amp, a PA system and up to 3 microphones all free of charge. If however, you prefer to use your own equipment we can arrange to have the studio cleared before you arrive leaving you free to use your own. Just let us know in advance and we will make arrangements.

Q: How can I pay?

A: We accept cash and credit/debit cards. Unfortunately we do not accept American Express or cheques.

Q: How do I find you?

A: We are very close to the M11 motorway, and to Debden London Underground station. We are on the Oakwood Hill Industrial Estate, and the best landmark for this is Browns Vauxhall and Honda servicing centre. When you have entered the industrial estate and Browns is on your left you will be at a T junction. Turn left and Soundlab Studios is the very last building on your right. Q: Have you got any parking facilities?

A: There is plenty of free parking right outside the door.

Q: Have you got catering facilities?

A: No. We can make you hot drinks, and we sell assorted cold drinks and snacks such as crisps and chocolate bars. If you prefer something more filling we can arrange for take away food to be ordered and delivered to us on your behalf. We have crockery and cutlery for you to use free of charge. We have a large selection of local restaurant menus available to help you decide! We also have a fridge which you are free to store your own food in to keep it fresh.

Q: Can I leave my gear at the studio to save me having to cart it to and fro every week?

A: Yes, we have ample secure storage facilities for hire. Please contact us for more information.
